During her Yoga JoyFlow teacher training Amy realized a commitment to truth-seeking was necessary to help others do the same. Her yoga practice has helped her to get present with her emotions, which makes her feel more grounded. She believes yoga aids her in becoming more honest, empathetic and compassionate. Amy believes we need to take responsibility for our own emotional well-being and physical fitness and hopes to connect with anyone dedicated to their own path of self-discovery. She enjoys showing people how to take care of themselves with breath, and would like her students to feel empowered, at peace and confident. She is an outdoor enthusiast and has personal and professional experiences with physical therapy. The addition of yoga to her routine has been invaluable to her life and she wants to share it with her community.
